Fly Strong - Inversion Workshop

This multi-level workshop is ideal for students working towards building confidence and balance in their inversions. Jen will break down the principles of balance technique exploring forearm stand and handstand.

We will explore how to let go of the fears of falling, stepping away from the wall and gaining confidence to go upside down. You will learn preparatory poses, exit strategies, wrist and shoulder health, proper alignment and strength building exercises.

While the physical aspects of inversions are important, Jen also believes that the energetic connection to community and the help of other yogis is the true gift of practicing inversions. We will explore partner techniques and spotting to gain confidence to fly in the center of the room.

Jen is a 500 hr RYT with a movement background in dance and gymnastics, acro yoga and Thai massage. Her yoga offerings span from Ashtanga and power vinyasa to slow flow, meditation and pranayama.
